Types of diameter steel pipe:
1. According to its curvature radius, it can be divided into long radius elbow carbon steel flange and short radius elbow. A long radius elbow is the outer diameter of a tube whose curvature radius is equal to 1.5 times, that is, R = a short radius elbow is the outer diameter of a tube whose curvature radius is equal to that of a tube, that is, R = a short radius elbow.

Different-diameter pipe is one of socket and socket forged fittings. If the diameter of different-diameter pipe does not match the inner diameter of the process pipe, the fastener should be shrinked or enlarged accordingly. If the pipe is shrinked, whether the pressure loss caused by this will affect the process flow should be considered. In order to prevent the distribution of velocity field and pressure loss caused by installation of different diameter tube, and then reduce the measurement accuracy of electromagnetic flowmeter, the required central cone angle is not more than 15 degrees, the smaller the better. There are two kinds: concentric and eccentric, concentric diameter pipe is generally used in vertical pipe; eccentric diameter pipe is used in horizontal pipe, and attention should be paid to mark top flat or bottom flat.
There are mainly the following places:
1. When the flow rate of the fluid in the pipeline changes, such as increasing or decreasing, and the flow rate requirement does not change much, the different diameter pipe should be used.
2. Import of pump to prevent cavitation.
3. In order to cooperate with instruments such as flowmeters and control valves, different diameter pipes are also needed.
